Fancy fitting a workout into your stag or hen plans? We can help you out there! Our very own SALT Gymnasia is the perfect place to fit in a fitness session.

You can book a group training session with one of our professional trainers who can host groups of up to a maximum of four people. This could be the perfect way to learn some new techniques (or freshen up after a night of celebrating!)

Doyle’s Restaurant is the place to enjoy fine dining in a relaxing environment, so indulge yourself. It has been awarded 2AA Rosettes for its culinary excellence, so you know you’re in for something special when you book your table.

Or you could opt for the Bay Brasserie, where you will find delicious bistro-style food along with fine wines and a great cocktail menu. Private dining spaces are also available for groups.

Perhaps you’d like to enjoy an afternoon tea as part of your hen night? This can be the perfect way to relax and indulge during your weekend of fun.

Our guests love Neo Cinema, our very own cinema right here in the hotel that is new for 2019. You can see all the latest blockbusters here, which makes for a popular after-dinner activity.

The cinema seats up to 30 people on comfy sofas and armchairs, and you can book it out for your event and enjoy a screening of your favourite film. Extras are also available like theme nights and a G&T table service.

After a fun-packed night in Woolacombe Bay, you might be in need of some fresh air. Fortunately, you’re in the perfect spot. The Woolacombe Bay Hotel is surrounded by spectacular scenery and stunning coastal walks both long and short, so you could go for a fresh morning walk or enjoy a whole-day trek.

Discover the best of Devon’s rugged countryside by walking around Morte Point, a short walk that packs in lots of beautiful scenery. Another enjoyable walk takes you to Bennett’s Mouth, a beautiful and secluded spot where you can enjoy nature at its finest.

There are plenty of walks in the area, so just ask at the hotel when you arrive and we’ll provide you with a few options.

One thing Devon is famous for is its surfing, and Woolacombe Beach is the perfect spot to either take your first lesson or master your moves. There are actually four beaches here, and you’ll also find lots of surf schools where you can book lessons for any level.

The main beach is three miles long and has been awarded a Blue Flag. Lifeguards are also present in the summer, making it a safe place to learn to surf. Or head to Barricane Beach, a more secluded spot where you can often find big waves.

You could even head out to Croyde Bay a bit further afield. This is one of the best beaches for surfing in the UK, but it’s more suitable for advanced surfers.
