Do you have a tireless sense of discovery and passion for sustainable, exciting food? Do you have a sound, reliable work ethic, great communication skills and a keenness to learn? We provide training, pastoral care and support for individuals from all diverse walks of life that want to be part of our story.

You’ll be working with some of the finest handpicked ingredients, alongside Head Chef Eddie and team of North Devon’s most innovative gastronauts.

We’ve a busy brasserie restaurant and quite a few different ‘drinking stations’ at the hotel – from NEO Bar where we serve perfectly muddled cocktails for supping in the cinema, to the Bay Brasserie with its great wine list, and Maxine’s where we host events. You can even drink and dine poolside on sunny days.

Managed by the lovely Front of House Manager – Johnny, you’ll be a real ‘people person’, passionate about great food and drinks, and you’ll thrive on the buzz of a busy service.

Our cherished team of housekeepers and porters have a passion for perfection and fastidious attention to detail. They are responsible for the ‘wow’ moment that revives even the weariest travelers when they check-in, and are always willing to lend a hand!

Managed by the ever-smiling Head Housekeeper – Robbie, this is a friendly team who are always at the heart of things, making sure everything is ‘just so’.

NEO is the kind of cinema you’ll be proud to work in:  sumptuous sofas, traditional sweets, and cocktails. Quite unique, it’s fast become one of our guests’ favourite parts of the hotel.

Become a host in NEO and you’ll be part of the magic – seating guests, looking after the NEO cocktail bar, and ensuring the smooth running of this rich retro-styled hideaway.


Relaxing powers

Our gorgeous spa boasts four treatment rooms, manicure & pedicure suites, heated pool, thermal facilities and mindfulness lounge. Working with handpicked spa partners, we aren’t stuck with the ‘same old’ – we specialise in ethical, seasonal feel-good treatments and design our own spa experiences.

Fitness fanatics

SALT is different to every other gymnasia: we offer wellbeing for every body. Join us and you won’t have push joining fees and sell confusing contracts. Instead, all our SALT Squad enjoy commitment-free, boutique pay-to-train fitness so you’ll be able to focus on helping them to smash their fitness goals. We offer small group and PT sessions, and are home to some of the finest kit in the South West.

Horticultural heroes

Our Maintenance Team are ‘behind the scenes’ heroes. They assist all departments, making sure things run smoothly.

We’re a Victorian hotel with over 60 bedrooms, self-catering accommodation, and beautiful coastal gardens, so roles in our maintenaance team are rewarding, but demanding. You’ll fit in perfectly if you have the energy and passion to tend to our building as if it was your own.
