The Bay Lido is our outdoor swimming pool at Woolacombe Bay Hotel. This pool in our Devon hotel is an exclusive sanctuary for our hotel guests. Bay Lido is perfect for swimmers and sun worshippers alike.

Our outdoor pool the Bay Lido is heated from the end of May – August, open from 8am – 8pm.
Note: Our hotel also has an indoor pool available to hotel guests which is heated all year round.

Bay Lido is a calming and refreshing sanctuary during the summer months. If you would like to stay further away from the busy Woolacombe Beach for the day but still want to make the most of the sunshine and hear the waves crashing in the background, our outdoor swimming pool is the perfect spot to do that.

With its modern luxury look and comfortable sun loungers the Bay Lido is the perfect spot to unwind whether you are on your own or with your family.

If you are visiting to the colder spring, autumn and winter months you can still enjoy the comfort of a pool by using our indoor pool. Devon is not just the ideal summer location, North Devon has its beauty throughout the seasons, and the facilities in our hotel are an additional luxury.

The hotel also has a spa, the Alchemist Spa is open all year round. You can book yourself a relaxing massage or a calming facial, and vitalise your body during the colder months.

As a family run hotel,Woolacombe Bay is indeed a family-friendly hotel. Our Devon hotel has two swimming pools: one indoor and one outdoor pool. Bay Lido our outdoor pool is the perfect place for families to sunbathe and swim together in the summer.
Being only a stone’s throw away from Woolacombe Beach where surfing can be enjoyed, our hotel is the ideal location in Devon to spend a relaxing holiday with the whole family. There are many green areas in front of our hotel which serve great as play areas for the little ones.
For families that like more of a private family holiday, and prefer to have your own space, we also have our Beach Retreats which are a self-catered apartments with a shared outdoor pool.

Bay Lido, our outdoor heated pool, is open only in the warm months. From Late May to August (or September if the weather holds!), Bay Lido is open from 8am – 8pm and exclusively open for our hotel guests.

As an alternative throughout the year, we also have an indoor swimming pool and spa at Woolacombe Bay Hotel.

Yes, Woolacombe Bay Hotel is a spa hotel in North Devon. Our spa, Alchemist Spa, offers treatments such as facials, massages and beauty treatments such as manicures and pedicures.
