Sessions

Pilates is a total body, low impact exercise that balance strength with mobility. Practicing pilates on a regular basis will improve:

  • Posture
  • Muscle strength & tone
  • Balance & coordination
  • Joint mobility & muscle flexibility
  • Mental health

You’ll focus your mind and challenge your body, in a single practice.

Pilates sessions focus on improving posture , core strength , mobility of your joints and and muscle flexibility.

FLOW

1 HOUR

In this session you’ll focus on developing strength and releasing tension physically and mentally, improving your posture, strengthening your core , improving joint mobility and re-balancing the whole body .

Sessions are hosted in The Ballroom; simply bring water and a towel – mats are provided (or you can bring your own).

POWER PILATES
SOOTHE & SWIM

PILATES & POOL

The Thermal Spa features a heated pool, sauna, steam and hot tub. Choose to ‘Soothe and Swim with Pilates’ – 1-hour’s Power Pilates at 8:30am on Sundays (please arrive 10 minutes early if it’s your first time), followed by an hour’s Thermal Spa.

Mats are provided, as are towels for your spa time. Please bring a bottle of water for your class.

A private session is a  great way to tailor a Pilates workout to your needs and focus on your specific goals, whatever they may be. During the session Dominique will help you fine tune your technique, challenge your body and increase your mind-body awareness. Private group sessions are also available upon request and availability

1. Please register on our booking system (TeamUp)

2. To book a 10-class bundle, go to the menu and select ‘Memberships’ and choose your bundle.

3. Or, if you prefer to book classes individually, simply select your individual class from the timetable and pay that way

Please bring a towel and some water. Sanitised mats are provided, or you can bring your own.

A full pilates or yoga session lasts 1 hour (unless otherwise specified).

Our sessions are suitable for all adults and levels of ability/fitness. Your expert teacher will adapt poses/motions for all levels of ability and flexibility.

Incorporating a regular pilates practice into your training regimen can greatly support and enhance any activities you do. Whether you’re seeking to reach elite status, or just to feel good, these sessions will challenge you in just the right way and positively enhance your lifestyle.

Pilates sessions are hosted in The Ballroom, or on the lawns in summertime. If you’re not sure how to find The Ballroom, simply head to SALT Gymnasia or the hotel reception and we’ll direct you.

Please be mindful of all students and be ready to go at least 5 minutes before each session. If this is your first SALT experience, please arrive 10 minutes early.

Should life get in the way and you are running late, a mat will be set up for you. Please enter the space quietly and join the practice.

Please note that parking is not included, which could mean a short walk; please allow time for this.

For the benefit of other students and our teachers/trainers, please allow 24 hours notice for all cancellations. All sessions can be booked and cancelled by logging into your TeamUp account.

Wear your own style, there are no rules!

The most important thing to remember is comfort and flexibility. The best clothes to wear to these classes are ones that are form-fitting. Loose, baggy clothing can make it difficult to move, and make it difficult to observe your form.

Lockers, showers and toilets are available.
