With miles of soul-stirring coastline and rugged countryside within easy reach, Woolacombe is quite simply one of the most beautiful places to visit in Devon and the whole of the South West. Days out adventuring in North Devon can be among some of the best but first thing’s first: have you decided how you will fuel your adventures?

Will it be breakfast in bed with a hand-delivered breakfast box? Will it be a lie-in followed by a caffeine hit and a light bite while you save yourself for lunch? Or maybe a beachside brunch with views of the waves? It’s all possible.

There are some days when nothing hits the spot better than breakfast in bed! For those days, it is possible to pre-order a continental in-room breakfast. Choose from a selection of meats & cheeses or pastries, juices and fruits, and place your order for hand-delivery to your bedroom 7:30am – 10:00am (you are able to book your delivery time).

Breakfast Boxes are available exclusively to guests staying in the hotel. When you book a stay we will contact you to offer you the opportunity to book a Breakfast Box. Please note that breakfast boxes may have limited availbility in peak months (July & August), when delivery times may be limited to 7:30am and 8:00am.

South Street, Woolacombe

This little gem is tucked away in South Street – practically next door to the hotel. Meraki’s talented baristas know just how to serve up the perfect caffeine hit, as well as delicious smoothies and a selection of breakfast fodder. Food is available to eat in, or take out can be ordered from their new serving hatch. Perfect if you want to make the most of beach days – grab a bite to eat and head straight to the dunes. Meraki is typically open 8:30am – 3:00pm, daily.

The Esplanade, Woolacombe

Home to divine breakfast feasts and beach views to boot, Beachcomber is a favourite with the locals. Just a short stroll from the hotel, there’s a variety of traditional breakfast dishes available, as well as veggie and gluten-free options. Waffles, pancakes and regular specials are all on the menu, and brunch is served too.

Woolacombe Bay Hotel

Sometimes a little of what you fancy does you good! The Bay Brasserie serves a fresh selection of sweet treats and exquisitely brewed coffees all day from 10:00am. No booking required, simply sink into a comfy sofa and indulge. Do it the Devon way with a cream tea, or opt for the age-old-favourite: a toasted teacake.
