We are counting down the days until 17th May 2021 when we are expecting to reopen. If you would like to unleash your pent-up wanderlust with a trip to the North Devon coast to feel the wind in your hair, the cool saltwater on your skin, the sand between your toes... we will be accepting new bookings from 7th March 2021.

We are a small team and we are currently busy helping guests who need to reschedule their bookings. We will answer your query as soon as possible; thank you for your patience and support during this difficult time.

What about my booking?

If you have a booking of any kind due to take place before 17th May 2021 we will contact you personally over the coming days. Please bear with our lovely team while they work from home to rearrange your stay. We will be opening our calendars to new bookings from Sunday 7th March 2021, to allow us plenty of time to reschedule your stay for a time that suits.

Please email [email protected] if you have any questions; we are available from 9am - 5pm, daily. Please include your Booking Reference and the new dates you would like to book.

What next?

As we look around, very little has changed here: the wild ponies still climb the hills by the hotel every day, the hotel grounds are as beautiful as ever, and our interiors as gorgeous... If anything, Woolacombe is even more special! The clifftops are as striking as ever and the waves are surf-perfect. But things are going to be different and we're all on a journey of recovery.

Our team is busy planning ways that you can escape to the coast once we reopen; we have the perfect ingredients for a restful stay: space to roam, gorgeous comfortable interiors and seascapes, but your safety - and that of our WBH family - is our most important consideration. Your peace of mind is at the heart of every decision we make, and we will be reopening with a series of subtle but effective precautions in place for your safety.



Good question! Gift vouchers affected by the lockdowns or temporary closure of the hotel will be automatically extended; please contact us to book your experience or stay (please note that some facilities may be temporarily affected for some time, depending on COVID-19 guidelines). If we need to extend the validity further, we will do so. Please note that this excludes limited edition 'Icing on the Cake' gift vouchers; please email us if you have one of these vouchers: [email protected]

Any new gift vouchers purchased while we are closed will also be extended accordingly.
