I was lucky enough to attend a wedding at the Woolacombe Bay Hotel in November & did I enjoy it...It was absolutely wonderful,so much so that I recommended the hotel on Zoover.co.uk. One of my most enjoyable memories was first walking into the hotel & an overwhelming feeling of warmth & security. It certainly has a wonderful ambience. Our room was very comfortable & we needed for nothing with everything to make us feel at home,thought of & already available. We took advantage of the swimming pool,sauna etc & felt totally relaxed. The wedding was a lovely occasion. It was my first attendance at a civil ceremony & I did have misgivings,but the day turned out to be perfect.....the ceremony having a very warm, intimate feel to it.

I would thoroughly recommend the hotel as a wedding venue. I must also praise the staff who were always welcoming & attentive. We found the food to be of a very high standard & breakfast & the wedding dinner were most enjoyable. Lastly, I must mention the location of the hotel. It is truly amazing! Our room overlooked the beach & Lundy Island in the distance. We were lucky enough to have lovely weather & to sit in our room overlooking such a view was a joy. I really just wanted to say how much we did enjoy our weekend stay & to thank the staff for making it so memorable.
